Personal Injury

Have you been injured in a car or motorcycle accident? Dog bite? Injured at a restaurant, store, or recreational activity? If so, I can help.

If you have been injured due to another's actions, or negligence, that other person may be legally liable for the injury. However, you may be limited to damages and actions by statutory limitations. (ie. Most personal injury actions in Utah must be initiated within two (2) years of the accident that caused the injury.)

Most accident claims are resolved through active negotiation with the other party, or the other party's insurance company. I have successfully negotiated accident claims in favor of my clients without the need to proceed to trial. However, should the other party, or insurance company not come to reasonable terms, trial may be the only option.

Attorney's Fees in Personal Injury cases are based on a contingency percentage. In other words, if the attorney does not win, he/she does not get paid. The contingency percentage can range from 33% - 40%, and covers the attorney's time and knowledge. Other costs may include any reports, expert witnesses, medical liens, and associated costs with building your case.
